Your story deserves care.
You should feel comfortable knowing what happens to the information you share here. This notice explains what the current website stores, why it needs it, and the choices you have. Updated October 21, 2026.
Accounts and private writing
Supabase handles account email addresses, password authentication, profile preferences, and private journal storage. Journals and drawings are restricted to their account owner in the website. The creator dashboard does not provide access to members' private journals. Authorized service administrators can manage the underlying infrastructure; private does not mean end-to-end encrypted.
Messages and suggestions
When you contact Leigh, your name, email address, subject, and message are stored in her private inbox so she can review your request. Resource suggestions are saved for review. Approved resource text becomes public; your display name appears only when you consent to credit. Avoid including diagnoses, identifying details about others, or urgent requests for help.
Community stories and safety records
Community participation is for adults who sign in and accept the care agreement. Supabase stores your agreement, stories, replies, original language, content notes, support preference, reports, personal blocks, and moderation notices. Approved stories and replies are visible with your display name to other eligible community members. Pending submissions are visible to you and the moderation team. Your account email and private journal do not appear in the community feed.
Moderators can review community submissions and reports, remove content, and restrict community access. Decisions and reasons are kept in a private moderation history; you receive an in-site notice and can ask Leigh to review a decision. Community posts are not automatically translated or sent to a translation provider. Blocking hides that member’s community content from your view; it does not prevent moderators from reviewing it. Contact Leigh below to request a correction, deletion, or a copy of your community data. Please share only what you are comfortable having other community members read.
Shared memorials, butterflies, and feelings
Memorial words and butterfly release words are stored with your account and reviewed before sharing. Other community members see the shared words without your account identity; moderators can see the submitting account. Candles are private to the member who leaves them, with no public counts. The emotion map displays a listed feeling and optional country for seven days, without your name, precise location, or posting time. Your submissions remain in your account until you withdraw them or request deletion. Moderation records may remain for reviewing decisions. You can withdraw shared submissions from their community space.
Browser storage
A language cookie remembers your choice for up to one year. Browser storage also supports sign-in sessions and language preferences. The Butterfly Room saves drafts and private butterflies in this browser. Private answers are not sent to the shared garden. Others using the same browser may be able to read them. Delete individual private butterflies in your garden, or clear browser storage to remove local drafts and earlier previews. Sign out on shared devices. Clearing browser storage may also sign you out.
Aggregate statistics
Made of More counts broad page views, language choices, resource categories, ordinary resource clicks, podcast plays, shop and newsletter link clicks, and selected accessibility actions. Counters contain a day, a fixed category, and a total. They do not include names, email addresses, account IDs, private writing, search terms, or individual crisis-link histories. The dashboard hides totals below five and reports a recent 30-day window. Link clicks do not prove a purchase or newsletter signup.
These counters do not use an analytics identifier or an advertising cookie. The site honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these requests. Daily counters older than 90 days are removed when new events are processed. Hosting and authentication providers may separately process technical connection information to operate and protect their services.
External services
Sites and its Cloudflare infrastructure host the website and its inbox, episode updates, and aggregate counters. Playing podcast audio connects your browser to the podcast's audio host. Shop purchases take place with Printify; newsletter subscriptions take place with Kit. Links to forms, social platforms, and helplines open those services, whose own privacy notices apply. Made of More does not receive payment details through its shop links.
Translations and recordings
Published website translations are stored with the site. Private journal writing is not sent to a translation service by this website. Podcast recordings use Leigh's existing audio; translated transcripts do not change the language spoken in the recording. Machine translations may contain mistakes, so original wording remains available.
Your choices and requests
You can change your language in the page menu or account settings and sign out when finished. Contact Leigh below to request account or stored-data deletion, a correction, or information about your data. Account records remain stored until removed; messages and suggestions remain available for their review and follow-up. We will verify a request before acting on another person's account. Please allow time for a personal reply; this inbox is not continuously monitored.
Made of More is for adults. It provides education and peer connection, not therapy or emergency care. Messages are not continuously monitored. For urgent support, use the resources page or local emergency services.
